Safari time, beach time

Most itineraries try to squeeze the best of Tanzania into a week. This one gives it the time it deserves. Three nights in the Serengeti mean you can follow the wildlife wherever it leads rather than rushing between lodges, and a stop at Mto wa Mbu, a busy market town where more than a hundred tribes live side by side, adds a real taste of everyday Tanzanian life. After the crater, a short flight takes you to Zanzibar for a night in historic Stone Town and four on the beach: the perfect way to let the safari sink in.
