6 days · Tanzania · Fly-in safari
Trade long road transfers for the view from above. Light aircraft carry you from Arusha to remote airstrips deep in the Serengeti, so more of every day is spent with the wildlife. Two intimate camps in different parts of the park give you variety, privacy and the very best of the season.

A fly-in safari is the most time-efficient way to see the Serengeti. Scheduled light aircraft link Arusha with airstrips across the park, and the flights themselves are part of the experience, crossing the Ngorongoro highlands and the endless plains below. Each camp has its own guide and open vehicle waiting at the airstrip, so you can be on a game drive within minutes of landing. Because the Serengeti is so large, we split your stay between two areas, typically the central Seronera Valley for resident big cats and a seasonal camp positioned near the migration. Please note that light aircraft limit luggage to around 15 kg per person in soft bags.
