Around the mountain

The Northern Circuit starts on the western Lemosho trail, crosses the Shira Plateau and then, instead of joining the busy southern circuit, traverses the remote northern slopes with views across to Kenya. Nine days on the mountain give your body more time to adapt than any other route, which is why it has the highest summit success rate. It’s ideal for those who want a true wilderness trek and the best chance of standing on Uhuru Peak.
